The Speech-Language Pathologists at Moss, Rowden, Freigang & Associates are trained to assess, identify and treat individuals with speech and language delays and difficulties. Our team has extensive experience working with a wide variety of ages including toddlers, pre-schoolers, school-aged, adolescents and adults.
Skills in speech and language are central to social and academic development. These skills are predictive of positive outcomes for children throughout their lives. Early intervention is especially important for more severe or complex difficulties and is the best prevention of long term struggles. At the same time it is never too late to seek support. Individuals of all ages can continue to struggle with explaining information, drawing conclusions, summarizing or organizing ideas, and/or with translating information to written output.
Our Speech-Language Pathologists start by assessing the child or individual to determine the nature of the difficulty. We then work directly with the individual and family to develop an intervention plan which often includes both direct therapy and home programming. As a team we also regularly collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines within our practice and externally to better service our client’s individual needs, with schools, community agencies and resources.
Our professionals have a broad range of experience in the following areas;
